My collaborator for the upcoming Songbook Series at Lincoln center writes:

For my third year in a row, I will have a song at the Holiday Songbook concert. For my first year, my song has nothing at all do with Jews. Nothing! As hard as this may be for some of you to believe, its true. So if youre Christian, come! If youre Jewish, come; after all, composer Steven Silverstein and lyricist me are both Jewish. If youre of a different faith or a non-believer (as the Prez would say), you may not like the concert too much. But comefor the performances and the fun. The holiday Songbook always gets the highest caliber talent of all the Songbooks, and not to disappoint, fresh from riding high in the national tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Jemima Potts, Aly Brier will be singing The Truth About Santa. Arent you just dying to find out what it is? Im sure you are so note the following,

Date: Sunday, December 13, 2009
Time: 2:30 PM
Place: Bruno Walter Auditorium at The New York Public Library
for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center
Admission: FREE

Because its a Sunday, the main library may be closed that day (it was last year). You want to go to the side entrance at 111 Amsterdam Avenue. Its at around 64th Street. Via subway, take the 1 to 66th Street. Its right there. The concert will absolutely fill up. Its FREE. Thats right, FREE. Did you hear me? FREE. Last year, the house staff (library staff, umm) turned many people away. So, come early to get a seat. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope to see you there! Happy holidays!

On December 13th, Steven presented the world premiere of two new Christmas Songs at the Lincoln Center Concert produced by John Znidarsic.
