Steven is the music director for Alice In Wonderland Jr. at the JCC.  Previous shows – Annie Jr, Wizard of Oz and Phantom Tollbooth.

 

5-12-13 “As I’d Like To Be”

As I'd Like To BeSteven is proud to music direct Jordan Hamessley London’s debut cabaret act at the Abington on Mothers Day, with direction by Regina O’Malley with Kelli Stryker.  A big variety of music.

 

5-11-13 Wedding

I was fortunate to play piano for Zehra Abdu’s wedding reception. Lots of diverse music “thrown about” including Elton John, Bon Jovi, Hairspray, Peter Pan, Billy Joel, Kander and Ebb and of course Jerry Herman!

 

4-18-13 “Hairspray” at JCC

HairpsraySteven is filling in for colleague Barbara Anselmi for the JCC Teen Production of Hairspray, directed by Sasha Nanus.

 

3-23-13 “The Last Gulp”

Steven’s been assistant music director since 1999!  A nice long running gig for 8 weeks.

2-23-13 “Dramatist Guild Songwriter/Bookwriter Exchange”

I was proud to be a part of this wonderful series.  Teshomech Olenja performed my song  ”Chicken Noodle Soup,” with  lyrics by Danielle Trzcinski.

 

2-17-13 Fiddler Revisited

Proud to be involved with Neva Small’s new project which she is taking to Florida.  A 35 minute slide show of B.F. and A.F. (Before Fiddler and after Fiddler), with a Fiddler Medley, which is on her “Not Just an Ingenue” CD. I was happy to help her with the continuity and structure of the piece.

I’m very excited that my short, solo piano piece was chosen by Michelle Bruckner to be included in Final Demonstrations at school.
